I told you I would post pictures from my fabulous weekend!
I got to see my little fur-baby, but more on him later
Even though I went to Panama City, I didn't actually go to the beach.
We went to watch my cousin play in the band for her last football game of the season.
They did a Veterans program and it was really good!
Saturday, Ansley marched in a Veteran's Parade. Then we went shopping!
I bought an awesome pumpkin spiced candle at my favorite store...
We also went to Chilis that day. We knew it could be crowded because they were feeding the veterans for free, so we got there really early. We did have to wait awhile for our food because they were very crowded. When the waiter brought our bill, it said $68.00 and below it said $0.00. The Panama City Chilis was feeding everyone that came in for free on Veterans Day. I thought this was such a kind gesture!! So if you are ever in the area go by and visit them, the staff was very nice!
On Sunday, My boyfriend and I headed to Tuscaloosa to see my brother and my puppy!
Polo has gotten so much bigger in the past 2 weeks. :(
While I was in PC I bought him a shirt with a santa hat on it
I thought it would be perfect for our Christmas picture.
We put it on him and he just froze and wouldn't move at all!
My brother would call him and he would just lay still and cry.
We put him in the floor thinking he might stand up or do something.. no he just laid there.
He looks so pitiful in the pictures. haha
We pulled the hood off and he finally raised his head but still nothing
Has any of your dogs ever done this?
We decided to take it off because he just wasn't himself
Maybe this will work well during our Christmas picture, but how do I break him from it after that?
I figured the doggie parents would be the best people to ask about this
If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
Here is one last picture of Polo
I hope you have a great day :)

Thanks for the follow! I'm loving your blog! Polo is such a little cutie :)
Haha, my doxie LOVES putting clothes on. He literally gets giddy when he sees me coming with a sweater or something. That's so funny that Polo doesn't like it! Hopefully he'll grow into it :)
My Leia loves to put clothes on. I think it is because I get so excited. So maybe some positive reinforcement? Put clothes on and go for a ride in the car? Or a cookie? Don't forget to get super excited yourself...and your not hurting him so maybe you leave it on?!?! Keep me updated!
I can put a sweater on Milo in the winter and it doesn't phase him a bit but he's used to having something on because we use a harness on him instead of a collar. It's pretty thin and he's used to wearing it. That being said, his mother (my mom's dog) is so upset and feels punished when she has a sweater on so my mom won't do that to her.
I know that it makes you feel better knowing he's warm but unless he gets used to it, I wouldn't do it. Just because it makes them feel like they are being punished for some reason. So heartbreaking and pitiful!
Good luck! Try getting a small harness first and see how he reacts to having a leash. Once he's used to that (or if he gets used to that) then try the sweater! Good luck!
Loved your pictures! Sounds like you had a good weekend! Hope your week is just as good :D
so cute!
What a fun weekend! Rocko HATES wearing clothes and does the same thing that your pup did. Breaks my heart, so we stopped trying. Hopefully he outgrows this phase soon. Good luck!
Haha, awww!!! First, he is sooo stinkin cute! I've been putting Brutus into clothes since he's been 8 weeks old. I think he has just gotten used to it. Maybe trying to make over him or give him his favorite treat while the shirt is on might help?
What a sweet dog!! Love seeing all the pics!
what a cute puppy! I got my favorite candle from TJ Maxx, it's a warm apple crisp candle & I got it for $5! can't beat that! I'm a new follower, I look forward to reading more
love his shirt!
I out clothes on my little one around christmas and she hates it. I always feel awful but she looks so darn cute. She forgets about it after a half hour and then she is running around happy again
