An Afternoon in Fairhope, Alabama

Yesterday, I worked in Fairhope so my mom, aunt and cousins came over to eat lunch with me. We walked downtown where there are boutiques and restaurants. It is a small, but beautiful community. Flowers line the sidewalks downtown. Here are a few of the pictures:

We walked down to the french quarter of town and there we saw a lot of neat buildings

Once we got the French Quarter, we were looking for somewhere to eat and we were told to try Panini Petes. It has been featured on the Food Network on "Guy's Big Bites" and "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives."

The food was amazing! I got one of the special paninis. It had turkey, roast beef, cheese, peppers and mayo. My mom and aunt ordered a hamburger, they both said theirs was good too. The fries were skinny and looked to be homemade. We sat in what looked like a greenhouse, it was really neat. The food and atmosphere was equally great! You can check out Panini Pete's website here!

If you are ever in Fairhope, Alabama you should go do some shopping and eat at Panini Pete's!

Sorry for the delay on this post, there has been a lot of bad weather.

Yesterday, I was awarded a Stylish Blogger Award by Rebecca at Southern Charm! You should go check out her cute blog! I will post more about this on Monday! :)

Have a great weekend!
