Easter Weekend

Hello again! Sorry I didn't post last week.

I hope you all had a great Easter :)

It is always great to celebrate Jesus!

We had a crazy weekend like usual

Thursday night my mom picked up my two young cousins to spend the weekend

Friday I took off work to get my boyfriend to get wisdom teeth extracted

Saturday my cousins from Florida came up for Easter 

Sunday was church then family lunch

It has been a good weekend, now I just don't want to go back to reality tomorrow

Valentine's Recap

Did you have a good Valentines day? I was spoiled rotten! 

So blessed to have a great boyfriend and wonderful parents and grandparents!

Wes started the weekend by taking me to see The Vow

and on Valentine's day I received:

We went out for a steak dinner, came home and lit candles and watched Breaking Dawn :)

My grandparents got my a gift card that can be redeemed at Olive Garden or Longhorn

and my parents gave me this:

A dogeared pearl necklace and this cute elephant!

I would say I was spoiled this v-day.

They all know me so well...

Simple 3 Ingredient January Recipe!

TGIF! In honor of the extremely cold weather that has come to Alabama I thought I would share a favorite recipe of mine.. and it just happens to deal with snowmen. It is not looking like Alabama will get snow this year because as soon as it gets cold, it turns warm the next day, crazy winter. Seriously it is not supposed to get out of the 40s tomorrow and then I saw by Tuesday it is supposed to be 65!! Talk about people getting sickness! 

Ok enough about the weather, let's move to the subject of the matter... Ritz Cracker Snowmen!

I am sure you have all had these simple yet amazingly good cookies/crackers. What's even better is that you don't even have to use an oven.

My mom and I made these cute little snowmen for a family Christmas parties, but snowmen doesn't have to be just Christmas related. To make these cookies it only takes 3 ingredients, how easy is that?!

Ritz Cracker Cookies

I box Ritz Crackers

1 jar Peanut Butter

1 package Almond Bark ( I prefer white chocolate)

Spread peanut butter between two Ritz Crackers and sandwich together. Melt the squares of Almond Bark in the microwave until melted; stirring well. Dip the crackers in the chocolate and place on a cookie sheet. Remove when the chocolate has hardened. 

If you want snowmen take gel containers to "paint" the face on!

Stocking Stuffer Swap Pictures

I am so glad I participated. I got Taylor a scarf, mug, little notepads, candy, a cute drinking glass, candle and a couple dog toys for her dog Addison. Christmas Presents Galore

Can you believe Christmas is already over? It seems like it goes by faster and faster each year. I thought it was weird when I went shopping the day after Christmas and they already had Valentines stuff out! I know a lot of people take down there Christmas stuff as soon as it is over. I have even known of some people taking it down Christmas night! My mom has always left our tree and decorations up until New Years Day and I love it like that. It only makes sense since we usually celebrate Christmas with some of my family who live out of town the days following Christmas. When do you take your Christmas down?

Christmas Recap and New Years Eve Expectations

Hello friends, I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as mine was! I was blessed beyond measure with all the gifts I received. I will save the post where I show you all my presents for tomorrow, but I can tell you that I am getting DVR hooked up today! That was number one on my Santa list. I have missed having it so bad. Also later this week I want to show you all the great things I received from my stocking stuffer swap and my Gogo Girlfriend box.
