Staying Thankful

{1} I was awarded the Versatile Blogger Award by sweet Shelby from Sweet Confessions. I will post more about this soon.

{2} I am thankful that I have worked all week. I know that might seem weird, but while I am looking for a job and working on my masters I have been subbing at my former high school.

{3} I am thankful that my brother is coming home this weekend! Since he has moved off to college we don't keep in touch like we should. So I am glad I will get to spend some time with him. 

{4} I am thankful my little baking business is still going strong. I have had a cake order and an order to do a batch of those homemade Butterfingers! My boyfriend took some to work and they were a hit! Make sure to get the recipe here if you haven't tried making them yet.

{5} I am thankful that our local craft shows are coming up. Usually it is Friday and Saturday and they close the street through town and have booths set up all up and down the street. I just love crafting! Now that I have found Pinterest I find things I want to make everyday!

{6} I am thankful tomorrow is Friday!

I am thankful for winning first place at the fair for my football cake! I have always wanted to enter something and I would always just put it off, but I am glad I went through with it!

This one may seem a little weird, but I am thankful for tissues haha. I have started coming down with a cold and the sneezing, coughing and runny nose have hit me hard. 

{3} 

I am thankful that my birchbox came today. I will post pictures and blog about the items, maybe tomorrow. You can read about my other birchboxes here, here and here.

I am thankful for the cooler weather. I can't wait until it feels like fall everyday!

I am thankful for these beautiful flowers my boyfriend bought me! The sunflowers are so pretty :)

I have so many things in my life to be thankful for!

I am thankful my mom's birthday was a success! I have more surprises for her this weekend, I will share with y'all Monday!

{2} 

I am thankful I get to see most of my family this weekend! They are coming up for the surprise mentioned above :)

{3} 

I am thankful I get to go see Emily graduate from The University of Alabama, Saturday. She was supposed to graduate in May, but due to the tornado on April 27th, UA rescheduled. The May graduates will now walk with the Summer grads. I am so proud of her! :)

What Are You Thankful For?

1. I am thankful for my family!

The past few days I have been down and out and my family has been there for me especially my mom! She is always very supportive and loving, but these past few days she has been here every step of the way when I needed her most! 

2. I am thankful to be home from South Alabama

I am not happy to be unemployed, but I am glad to be home with my family and friends!

3. I am thankful for my friends throwing me a birthday party last Saturday!

Dillon hosted the party and it was so much fun! We had great food and a lot of fun swimming and playing games!

4. I am thankful that the weekend is approaching soon!

I can't wait to be lazy and hang out with my friends and family :)

5. I am thankful for everything God has blessed me with I know he will continue direct my life!
