(it's ok)

Happy... Thursday, but I wish it was Friday! At least the work week is almost over. Today I am going to link up with Neely from A Complete Waste of Makeup for the "It's Ok" post. So make sure to go by her blog so you can link up too!

It's Ok... that I painted my fingernails this color and...

I really do enjoy getting compliments on them everywhere I go

Including being stopped in Home Depot!

It's Ok... that I bought a really cute Nicole Miller Bathing Suit cover up tonight

and I fully intend to wear it as a dress tomorrow

with a sweater and leggings of course.

The print is similar but not the same and mine is strapless

It's Ok... that I have to get up early to be at a teacher meeting in the morning

but I plan to stay up like usual-

I can never get everything done that I need to

It's Ok... that I am addicted to watching the Bachelor

I don't know what it is bc like you all I hate the drama but yet

I watch every week and get sucked in! 

I really want to know who win, but I am trying to wait it out

It's Ok... that I have been rearranging my room and

there is piles of stuff that I do not know what to do with

and yet I still want to go shopping every day-- problem!

It's Ok... that I am really excited about seeing this little man this weekend

Monday Rambles

Happy Monday! Did you do anything exciting this weekend? 

I actually did not go shopping this weekend

I wanted to, but it was nice to have a relaxing weekend just to lay around

Saturday I did a little cleaning and...

Wes and I may or may not have watched too much

We also had some good mexican food

This wasn't my actual dish, but it looks very similar :)

Sunday, I went to church then I went with Wes to buy groceries 

We have been cooking together several times a week and

Pinterest  has been a great place to get new recipes for us to try!

I also worked on my lesson plans and caught up on some of my shows

Do any of you watch One Tree Hill?

I started watching while I was in high school and have watched ever since

I will admit I liked the older seasons better, but I still watch.

Do y'all have any suggestions of shows to watch after we finish HIMYM?

Also, my grandmother had to have some stints put in this week so if you could keep her in your prayers I would appreciate it! :)

What I am Loving

Happy Thursday! I decided to do my Pinterest Post yesterday, so I thought I would do a what I am loving Thursday post :) Saturday, while I was in Tuscaloosa I did some shopping of course. I got quite the goods at TJ Maxx so I had to share them with you!

I have to tell you that I received a sample of this perfume in one of the first Birchboxes I ever got and I really fell in love with it. When I went in TJ Maxx the other day I found this gift set for a great price so i knew I had to get it!

The picture doesn't do it justice, it is really cute!

I saw one of these cookbooks on Pinterest and the very next day I got a Groupon to buy this for $12! So of course I had to buy it. It has 4500 recipes in it. It even teaches you how to cook. I really have enjoyed it and I know I will put it to good use! So I guess it's obvious that I love to find a SALE. I like to shop frugally- if that's even a word. ha

As you know my boyfriend and I are kinda obsessed.

We have to watch at least 2-3 episodes a night! 

I think we have made it to season 3 now. 

Don't give it away, but I think I heard it is now season 6 and they still haven't told how the mother is?! How?? I guess I will have to watch and find out!

With it being a little over a week away I need to start planning the menu for my super bowl party! What are your plans for the big game?

Monday Rambles

What a fun weekend. I did think it went by too fast, like always! 

I went to Tuscaloosa  to see my brother, Dillon and Polo!

We did a lot of shopping..

I am pulling a late night because we are expected tornados tonight :(

Yesterday, I went with my boyfriend to Birmingham to the funeral home,

afterwards we went to eat at Longhorn.. yummy!

We have decided we needed to start watching a new show so we turned to Netflix

to find.. How I Met Your Mother, love it!!!

So we spent much of the night watching that

I was so happy to see him!

I bought him a "life like" raccoon 

Emily came with me to Tuscaloosa

he froze and hated it!

IT'S OK... due to being out work on Monday the rest of my week as been
kinda dull and I just don't feel like doing anything!

my nerves. I am soo excited, I read everyday that Emily Maynard is the next bachelorette!

One Lovely Blog Award

Last week I was honored to receive the "One Lovely Blog" award from Life with Elizabeth! I am supposed to share 7 facts about myself and then pass on to 15 other lovely blogs!

1. I love to decorate and plan for parties. I love when someone in my family or friends have a birthday because I like to go all out! I would love to plan parties for a living!

2. I want to open my own bakery. Since I have been decorating cakes and cupcakes I would love to open my own shop. I know this will not happen anytime soon, but it's ok to dream :)

3. For the next 3 weeks I will be employed as a transfer advisor at a community college, but since the job is based on a grant and it will end in the next few weeks, I will then be unemployed :( I have really enjoyed this job and hopefully I will be able to find one like it very soon!

4. I am obsessed with elephants! While attending school at the University of Alabama I would buy stuffed elephants and now I have a large collection. Here is the latest one from my Easter basket! He is sooo cute :)

5. I am excited that May is just around the corner! May is one of my most favorite months besides December because it always means school is getting out, summer is approaching and last but not least... My Birthday!!! Yesterday, actually was a month until my birthday and I forgot to post about it. I take birthdays very serious. haha If I could I would most definitely celebrate all month long! I did come up with celebrating "birthday eve" :)

6. I am a tv addict. Living away from friends and family this past year has been a little bit lonely so I consoled myself with tv shows. Each night I would have certain ones to watch to make the time go by faster. I just recently started watching The Vampire Diaries and love it! A few shows I could never get enough of are.. Friends, Sex & the City, The Hills, Grey's Anatomy, The Bachelor, One Tree Hill and several more. 

7. I am obsessed with bows! I don't necessarily wear them in my hair, but I really do like them. My friends have bought me rings, necklaces, shirts, etc adorned with bows. I posted my new sunglasses that have bows on the side here.  I recently found a pair I want to get from Sick For Cute:
