I Need Your Help. Questions About Candles

I have become a candle fanatic. I have always had a love for candles, but never really bought any until lately. My grandmother was a big candle lover and she always have a candle lit in every room of her house.. needless to say it was always smelling wonderful in her house! I bought a candle warmer yesterday and I turned it on for about an hour, but I couldn't tell that it was doing anything. Do any of you have a candle warmer? Are they worth it? Also, how long does it take before you start smelling the candle?

I thought I would share with you a few of my favorite candles and I hope you will let me know what your favorites are so that I can try them out!
This candle smells just like a Christmas tree! I still like to burn it all year
Love Spell is one of my favorite scents, so I had to have the candle too
I bought this one not to long ago, It makes the house smell like sugar/cinnamon cookies
This is my ultimate favorite candle. It's called Wisteria Lane by Tyler Candle
It reminds me of my grandmother- that is a good thing
She was very "hip" in perfumes :)

Do any of you own a Scentsy? I have become very interested in them, but I didn't know if they were worth it. I saw Walmart has a their version for $15, but I didn't know if it was as good as a scentsy.

I feel like I asked a lot of questions, but if you could answer I would appreciate it. Let me know what your favorite scents are! :)

I have a scentsy and love it. You know when you light candles and you need them to burn evenly all the way across, so you have to wait longer than you want sometimes to blow them out or you risk it burning all funny like. You don't have that problem with scentsy. My friend Megan sells it if you are looking to buy one. They have some great scents.

Hi there! So glad you found my blog! Followed you right back :)

I am oddly obsessed with candles as well...I could spend hours smelling everything in Bath & Body Works! My favorite smell right now is Autumn Apple..it is so warm and fall-like! Let me know how the candle warmer goes...I've never heard of such a thing!

I love Love Spell scent! and I have a candle like the first one pictured from Bath and Body works, only I got "Hot Chocolate" Mmm. it smells delicious! But what I really love are those cake candles. I like cinnamon / spice smells. So pumpkin and cinnamon and whatever I can find! They smell SO good! They look like these:

Also, I have candle warmers. I have found that good quality candles smell great on them but cheaper ones tend not to smell at all. I have a Yankee candle on one at work and you can smell it and it smells great. At home I bought a cheap 5.00 jar candle from Michaels and have turned it on a few times and haven't smelled it yet!

I too love candles, but my FAVORITE smell maker is ny oil burner. It is pretty and spreads scent throughout the house for hours. I highly suggest you try one!

I'm wild over candles- I didn't know they have a Love Spell one?! Getting it! Also, when it comes to candles, cheaper ones are NOT a sacrifice- they smell and burn just as well as the pricey ones, in my opinion. Candle warmers I've never really known about... I have never found one that truly released the scent. I would think you'd need to leave it on at least a couple hours for it to begin working..? But I don't know- I just burn 'em! By the way, that Hazelnut Cream one is my favorite- I love those candles and they're inexpensive. :)

Lately, I have been obsessed with candles. Bath and Body candles are def my favorite! I get the little ones so I don't get stuck with 1 smell too long. Hands down my fav scent right now is salty carmel. YUM!!

I love candles! I have one in every room in my house. I have a few Bath&Body Works candles, I love all of their fall scents and the new bake shop ones. But I LOVE my oil warmer. If you don't have one you should get one. A few drops fill the whole house! Amazing! Love it. You need to invest in one. I have a little Sentsy warmer pot and I have gotten scents for it from Yankee, Bath&Body Works, and Wal Mart. I am curious about the scentsy ones though. They have some really cute warmers. I am tempted to ask for one and some smells for Christmas.
