Happy Friday! I wanted to share another fabulous recipe with you. It is obvious I like Butterfingers bc I seem to post a lot of recipes about them.
My family and friends love having Butterfinger Cake at our events because it is so delicious. You can learn how to make it here!
Then Pinterest came along and I feel like I need to try all of the recipes. ha. Recently I found a recipe for Homemade Butterfingers and it has become a huge hit. Even my boyfriend's co-workers keep asking him to bring more to work. You can get that recipe here.
Well yesterday, I found yet another recipe for Butterfingers. It is Butterfinger Blondies. Have you ever had these before? I can't wait to try them, but until then I will post the recipe for you to try.
The recipe comes from Six Sisters' Stuff blog. She must have pinned it to Pinterest and I am so glad she did. See the recipe on her blog here.
Butterfinger Blondies
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp coarse sea salt
2 cups coarsely chopped Butterfinger Bars (approx. 16 fun size bars)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cream butter and sugars in mixing bowl
Add vanilla and eggs and mix together well
On low add your flour, salt and baking soda until well combined
Stir in chopped Butterfingers
Spread in a 9x13 baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until center is set
Remove from oven and cool completely
Butterfinger Buttercream
Ingredients:
1/2 cup room temp butter (1 stick)
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
2 1/2 to 3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup chopped Butterfinger Bars (4 fun sized bars)
Instructions
Cream the butter and shortening until smooth
Add in powdered sugar on low speed. Turn speed up to a medium and mix until smooth
Stir in chopped Butterfinger
Spread on your cooled blondies
Enjoy!

Sounds amazing, but I can't make anything that uses flour... :/ It's this quirk I have. I can eat it as long as I don't have to touch the flour, so maybe I'll share this recipe with my mom. ;)

What a great looking cake. I treat myself to a scone once in a blue moon for breakfast, but this cake would push to first place, I think.I am sure gonna make this recipe as soon as possible.
