This day has been one of worst for the state of Alabama. I have never seen so much tornado damage in so many areas as I have tonight. It all started at 6am and lasted until 9pm. It was definitely a day I will always remember. I have been out of power all day and who knows when it will be back on. There has been so many people to loose their lives today, it is just a sad day in Alabama. My family and I were all okay and as far as I know my friends are okay as well. I am sad to say many of my friends are without homes in Tuscaloosa. The damage in Tuscaloosa is so severe, it is unrecognizable. The street my apartment is on is completely destroyed, somehow my apartment didn't have much damage. (I still have an apartment in Tuscaloosa even thought I live in Gulf Shores and Blount County) I have been at my home in Blount County today. I will post more tomorrow or whenever I get power. Please pray for the state of Alabama tonight!

Terrible!!! I'm praying for all those affected!
Oh my gosh! I'm so glad you and your family and friends are ok! We had bad storms and tornado warnings but were lucky not to have them. So sorry for all you guys had to go through.
It's so devastating. Where did you live in Tuscaloosa? My understanding Crimson Place, UV and the Downs all sustained some significant damage. Praying for you and all your friends. I can hardly stand this all. I barely slept cause tuscaloosa was so heavy on my heart last night. I tossed and turned. My sorority sister is in critical condition and one of the kitchen staff at our sorority house lost her home. Roll Tide and God bless Alabama.
I have been crying constantly since yesterday. It's so awful the way the South has been completely ripped apart recently!
Praying!! Stay safe.
