Home is Where Your Mom is

I wanted to tell you a little bit about my mom since Mother's Day is coming up this weekend. I believe I have the best mom there is. I have been truly blessed to have a christian mother who is so kind, compassionate and willing to help others at any cost. She has always supported me and my brother in anything we want to do by lending advice or just being there for us. I feel like her life is a pattern of what everyone woman should want to have. I know she has made mistakes and will continue too, but to me she is perfect in every way.

My mom also had a great role model growing up to make her the woman she is today. To her this would be her mom, but I call her neenie. Neenie is the best grandmother anyone could ever have. She is such a hard worker and cares about people like I have never seen. She will go out of her way to make sure everyone is taken care of. She visits all the sickly men and women from our church bringing them pies and goodies as well as all of her aunts and uncles who are still living. She is very strong, but has such a tender heart for people.

My other grandmother, Nana who is in heaven was a wonderful woman herself.  She also was very loving and caring. She had a laugh that would make anyone smile. We all miss her terribly, but we know she is in a better place!

I feel very blessed to have such great women in my life. I can only hope I will be like them!

Happy Mother's Day!
