Tuesday Celeb News

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great weekend. What did you do? I guess you can sad I had a rather sad weekend. The Bama-LSU game didn't turn out like I had hoped, but I am happy we are still ranked #3. Now we just need Oklahoma State and Stanford to get beat to have a shot at a possible rematch for the championship!

I am doing a post on celebrity news today. I love watching E! News and reading my US Weekly to keep up with the celeb gossip. I can't believe until last week I had never thought about doing a celeb post. Maybe it will be something I will do once a week. Do you like celeb news? If so, where do you go to find the latest news?

{1} Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the Michael Jackson Case
Michael Jackson died in 2009, but the Dr. Murray case ended today after 6 weeks. He was taken into custody immediately without bail. He was handcuffed as the judge was still talking to him. His sentancing will not be until Nov. 29th. He could face up to 4 years, but probably will get out a lot sooner, says E! News. You can read more about the story here

{2} Lindsay Lohen spent less than 5 hours in jail
I wonder how many times she will have to go to jail before she straightens up her life? Supposedly the judge was going to make her stay the whole 30 days she was sentenced, but 5 hours? wow. She was released early due to "overcrowding" It seems weird to me that every time she goes to jail it is always overcrowded. This is the 5th time she has been to jail since 2007. Read more here

{3} Miss Venezuela wins
Miss Venezuela was crowned Miss World Saturday night. She looks so pretty. Check out her shoes!

{4} Justin Bieber says he will take the paternity test
His rep released a statement today saying Bieber will take the test, but will then sue Mariah Yeater. He says he doesn't even know who she is and said he is taking all the news with a grain of salt. More here

{5} Joe Frazier passes away
Former heavy weight champion boxer passed away yesterday after losing his battle to liver cancer.

{6} Glamour's 2011 Woman of the Year Awards
Many celebs turned out to this event, while many were awarded something. This was the 21st annual.

And to think I used to LOVE Lindsay Lohen...I mean The Parent Trap? Or Mean Girls? I did like Georgia Rule too.

PS I love that we follow each other on twitter now!

I'm glad Dr. Murray was convicted, but am disappointed that he will serve a very small amount of time for his crime. Same deal with Lindsey ... she's a mess and needs a real intervention. Too bad the thought of jail isn't a real threat. My fav celeb gossip sites are people.com and tmz.com. Happy Tuesday!
