Super Bowl Recipes and Party Ideas

The super bowl is just a few days away.
What are your plans for the game?
Do you always have the same menu or do you try new things?
We usually have pizza, but I am thinking about changing it up
Due to Pinterest I have found some good food ideas
What did we ever do with out Pinterest, seriously?

Who are you pulling for this weekend?
I don't love either team, but I don't dislike either one of them either
I am a Colts fan because of Peyton Manning,
so I guess I will keep it in the family (Eli Manning)and pull for...

The Giants

Here are a few of recipes I have thought about making..
You can find these all on my food page on Pinterest
7 layer dip cups

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Frito Salad

Mexican Dip

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Football cookies

Puppy Chow
You can see where I made it here

Homemade Butterfingers
See where I made them here

I love planning for parties
I planned a Super Bowl Party when the Colts were playing the Saints in 2010
I may not go all out this year but we will still have fun!
Do you have any recipes to share?

I need to try those football strawberries out. What a cute idea!
I absolutely hate the Patriots so I will be pulling hard for the Giants. Love Super Bowl sunday!

I love all these recipes you've posted!! The dip cups are such creative ideas, and smart.

We have gone to my sister's house the past few years but this year she's coming over ours with her new baby instead of having a party :) We definitely have chili (my dad's famous recipe), and pulled BBQ pork, and last year we smoked chicken wings that we added to our mix. I've made buffalo chicken dip before and it was SO yummy! But usually those are our staples, and then veggie tray and fruit too :)

I love all the mexican dishes! I don't really watch the NFL, but the super bowl is always a good excuse for junk food :)

I love the seven layer dip cups too. What a brilliant idea! I've seen them in small juice glasses as well.

Question: Have you thought about embedding your pins into your post so that we can all click on them and repin you? It's pretty cool!
